How do I retrieve my Home Assistant Long-Lived Access Token?
Log into your Home Assistant server via a web browser. Click on your profile picture in the bottom left, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select "Create Token" under the "Long-Lived Access Tokens" section. Copy the generated key and enter it into the app configuration field.
What does the Premium Subscription offer?
Premium unlocks Real-Time push updates using the WebSocket protocol. Without a subscription, device states are refreshed only on app launches or pull-to-refresh. WebSocket keeps the dashboard live in milliseconds.
How do proximity automation geofences function?
You define locations (e.g. Hsinchu Home, Taichung Home) in Settings. When you enter a geofence radius, the iOS Location Manager senses the arrival event and triggers your preconfigured scene (e.g. Welcome Home scene) automatically.
Why does my connection test fail?
Verify your Base URL format. Avoid trailing slashes or subdirectories unless using a reverse proxy. Make sure your local address is reachable from your current Wi-Fi/cellular network, and ensure your access token doesn't contain trailing spaces.
